Premier Foods - Customer Case Study

As the UK's leading food producer, Premier Foods manufactures some of the nation's favorite foods including Hovis bread, Mr. Kipling cakes, Sharwoods Asian foods, OXO stock cubes, Batchelors soups and noodles, Loyd Grossman sauces, Bisto gravy, Quorn meat-free products, Ambrosia custard and rice pudding, Branston pickle and Hartley's jams, marmalades and Jelly.

Gideon Hillman Consulting have provided project support to Premier Foods since May 2008 with their Materials Handling and Supply Chain operations including Warehouse and Logistics Operations project management and implementation.

Projects have included the following:-

  • Full design, development, and implementation of Warehouse “end to end” process SOP’s for new ERP WMS module implementation and review of pick face layouts and MHE requirements.
  • MHE operational and commercial strategy review & recommendations for the Bakery Division.
  • Supporting the commercial and service level negotiations and implementation of the outsourced frozen logistics tender operations for Marlow Foods (meat free product division of Premier Foods)
