PREMIER FOODS IMPROVES IT’S LOGISTICS NETWORK

Premier Foods having already identified that by consolidating and basing their southern-based ambient warehousing in the Corby area it would be able to improve customer service and logistics operations for its core brands – Loyd Grossman, Sharwoods, Batchelors, Ambrosia, Bisto and Oxo.

The leading food producer enlisted the support of Supply Chain and Logistics Specialists Gideon Hillman Consulting throughout the outsourcing tender process, which resulted in the award of a five year contract to Wincanton to operate an ambient warehouse in Corby processing 80 million cases a year.
